A sideswipe on an elevated section arrived with a half-written EDR and a barrier scuff that the first sketch placed too far downstream. Two Socket Flowcore alumni, then mid-flagship, rebuilt the contact sequence using scrape height and post rotation rather than forcing a delta-v point. Their note to counsel listed three unsupported claims in the original draft and replaced them with a speed band tied to the scuff geometry.

The hearing did not “prove” a number. It did prevent the municipality from asserting a precision the recorder never offered. The alumni later said the Chamber Note habit — observation, inference, speculation in three labelled paragraphs — was what the lawyer actually used.

A coach with a shallow offset into a stationary lorry produced dummy-like channel noise from an aftermarket sensor bay. Occupant Kinematics students mapped likely torso paths and then discarded two channels after showing the mount had rotated. The remaining record supported a lower longitudinal load than the first vendor report.

The reservation, recorded in their own debrief: the studio still lacked a coach-specific stiffness family, so the longitudinal band stayed wide. They did not invent a tighter one for the insurer. That refusal, they wrote, was the most expensive-looking part of the report and the most honest.
